30 Day Blogging Challenge // Day 12. Your Favourite Childhood Book

There is no possible way that i could choose only one and that's because there are so many books from my childhood that inspired me and that i still read to this day. So my favourite ones are...

Alice in Wonderland // Alice Through The Looking Glass

My obsession with Alice in Wonderland didn't come out of nowhere. It came from the books. My mum used to read these to me when i was little and i would hound her to read them to me all the time. Lewis Carroll must've had one messed up brain to come up with the concept of Wonderland and it's inhabitants. It's like an acid trip but i love the story so much it never gets old.

 The Hungry Caterpillar

The Hungry Caterpillar was awesome and it still is to this day. He was such a hungry little bugger, nibbling his way through all sorts of nice food and in the end he turned into a butterfly, it was the nicest story ever! Ok so it wasn't technically a story but it had a nice ending and i read this to Saz when she was little and she loved it too. It's a classic.

Goosebumps

If you were an early teenager in the 90s then you will remember these books. R.L Stine has alot to answer for because his books scared the shit out of me as a kid. I remember one of his stories and i can't remember which one it was called but it was about a library that was haunted or something and i could picture it in my mind. It was in a forest with nothing else around and i would have to hide under the shelves to avoid being seen and since then i have had dreams about exactly the same scenario. He's destroyed my mind but the books were fantastic.
